Zelna Winery

We have been farming organically since 2014 in the Balatonfüred-Csopak Wine Region, including Balatonfüred and Balatonszőlős. Our main variety is Italian Riesling, but we also offer Pinot Gris, Merlot and Zweigelt.

We built our winery in Balatonfüred, in accordance with the most modern technologies. From picking berries to bottling, we carry out all the processes ourselves. We make light, reductive wines, but our vineyard-selected premium items are also aged in barrels. In terms of the style of the wines, the most important thing is that they should be fresh, fruity and have the character of the place of production.

Our areas are located in Balatonfüred and Balatonszőlős. The soil of our vineyards is so diverse that it sometimes shows a completely different character even within a single vineyard. We consider it important to harvest the best possible quality grapes, which is why we have been cultivating organically since the beginning.

Our classic wines are characterized by freshness and fruitiness. Light, easy-drinking, varietal-specific wines, which are fermented in steel tanks, preserving the character of the varietals.

In addition to light wines, we also produce vineyard-selected batches, with which we strive to show the characteristics of the growing area and highlight the values inherent in the varieties. Some batches are also aged in barrels, making the flavor even more intense.
