Petrányi Winery

8229 Csopak, Sandpit s. 31.

Our family cellar is a hidden treasure on the Szitahegy in Csopak, where we have been farming since 2001. The press house and cellar were built according to the plans of Ferenc Heimann. In addition to the traditional white varieties (Olaszrizling, Furmint), we also produce Tramini and Yellow Muscatel, Merlot and Blue Franc rosé and we also focus on red wines: the Syrah blue grape variety was the first to be planted in the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region in 2009.

Since 2018, our winemaker is Ambrus Bakó, who combines modern and traditional winemaking techniques to exploit the potential of the unique wine-growing area. During our wine tasting programmes our guests can get to know our winemaking philosophy.

Since 2015, the cellar has also been home to a Wine Terrace, where we offer seasonal ingredients from local producers, a monthly changing menu and a beautiful panoramic view of Lake Balaton all year round!
