Bökő Winery

The attachment to vineyards came from our father, János, who spent most of his time in the local vineyards from the 1980s onwards and still does to this day. Decades later, in 2015, after a few years of experimentation, the first vintage wines were officially released.
It’s an ongoing journey, but what we do know is that we want to work as naturally as possible, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. It’s simple, these are the wines we drink.
Our plantations are located in Tihany (6 ha), Balatonfüred (4 ha) and Csopak (1 ha).
We have 10 hectares of our own land, mostly on old vines, with a small number of new plantings.
The emphasis is on Olasz Riesling and Kékfrankos, with Sárgamuskotály and Zweigelt vines growing alongside.
