Arias Winery

In 1991, my parents bought an 800-square-foot vineyard and the associated wine cellar – that’s how our story began. We currently farm more than 10 hectares in Pécsely and Balatonfüred. Our cellar is located on Megye hill with a wonderful panorama of the Balaton, which takes our breath away every single day. Cultivating grapes here is no small challenge: the soil is extremely stony. This is also felt in the taste of the wines, making the flavor character of Pécsley very distinctive. The Pécselyi basin, surrounded by hills, is a separate world for us, in which we can make wines as rich and unique as the wildlife of the Balaton highlands.
