2025.05.09-11.  Hotel Annabella
Május 9-én a Hotel Annabellávan rendezik meg a 34. Balatonfüredi Borversenyt, az eseményen a hagyományok szerint a termelők közül kiválasztják az Év Borászát. Azok a borászok jelentkezhetnek, akik a Balatonfüred-Csopaki Borvidéken termelt saját, vagy vásárolt szőlőből készült borral rendelkeznek.

A Balatonfüred-Szőlősi Hegyközség és a Balatonfüred-Csopaki Borvidék Hegyközségi Tanácsa közös szervezésében megrendezendő borversenyen a borokat felkért szakértőkből álló bizottságok 100 pontos bírálati módszerrel bírálják majd el Nyitrainé Dr. Sárdy Diána Ágnes a MATE Budai Campus főigazgatója irányításával.

Hosszú évek óta hagyomány, hogy a Balatonfüredi Városi Borversenyen arany illetve nagyarany díjazásban részesült száraz olaszrizling borok közül a képviselő testület kiválasztja a Város Borát. A nyertes bor megjelenik majd a városi rendezvényeken, illetve ezt kapják ajándékba a Balatonfüredre érkező meghívott vendégek is.

A Balatonfüredi Borheteken csak azok a borok árusíthatóak, amelyeket neveztek a városi borversenyre és elérték a minimum 70 pontot.

Az ünnepélyes eredményhirdetést május 11-én, vasárnap 16.30-kor rendezik meg az Annabella Hotel éttermében.
