Karosi Júlia Quartet: Stephem Sondheim Projekt

Karosi Júlia egyéni hangvételű vokális műsorával a hazai és külföldi színpadokat is bejárta az elmúlt évtizedben. Az énekesnő a klasszikus zene felől érkezett a jazzbe, ami nemcsak magas szintű ének technikájában, kifejező tónusaiban, de választott zenei világában és repertoárjában is nyomot hagyott. Saját szerzeményei mellett előszeretettel nyúl népdalokhoz és klasszikus szerzők darabjaihoz Bartóktól, Kodályon át Gershwin, Cole Porter és Stephen Sondheim páratlan zenei világáig – azonban ezekben az átiratokban is mindig a személyesség érdekli, az, amit a jazz eszközkészletének segítségével saját magáról és mai világunkról elmesélhet.
